Spring 2019 Active Threat Seminar
On May 15, 2019, Atlantic Charter Insurance sponsored a free seminar for clients at the Westin Waltham – Boston Hotel. We had a large number of clients that attended from different industries including: home health and visiting nurse agencies, hospitals, food and durable goods manufacturing, and transportation/distribution companies. The main discussion points for the seminar included:
- Recognizing signs of violence
- De-escalation techniques
- Active Threat/Shooter
- Good decisions in fractions of a second
- What to expect from responding law enforcement
